The SpoolTek Tailblader was designed with the perfect combination of SpoolTek’s Dartspin and Fatty. It’s soft to the touch, yet durable. The Colorado blade attracts fish with flashing action. The lure?s most unique feature is the internal spool containing a stainless steel leader that will separate from the lure when a fish strikes. This allows anglers to use lighter leaders attached to the eyelet of the lure, thus enhancing the action while preventing breakoffs due to the internal leader. It is also important to note that the hooked up fish will be unable to use the weight of the lure for leverage to throw the hook.
